Credaro Wines Weddings
Credaro Family Estate is one of the best wedding venues in Margaret River. Located just ten minutes drive south of Dunsborough along Caves Road, it’s not hard to see why Credaro Wines is so popular with brides and grooms seeking a luxury style wedding in the South West.
The Margaret River wine region has some fantastic wedding venues to choose from and Credaro Wines has to be on your list of venues to visit.
Credaro Wines architecture and history.
The cellar door has Tuscan architectural influences that originate from the first generation of the Credaro family who came from Northern Italy in 1922 to establish one of the first wineries in the Margaret River region.
The Mediterranean style is accentuated with white washed walls and terracotta tiled roof, the terrace overlooks stunning views over Wildwood Valley.
Why Credaro is a dream venue to photograph weddings.
Credaro family estate is a wedding photographers dream venue, incredibly picturesque and tranquil with an abundance of beautiful wedding photo locations on the property.
Everything at Credaro Wines is located really close which means you will not have to walk very far and get tired or deal with sore feet in your new wedding shoes.
How Credaro offers you a relaxed and enjoyable wedding experience.
There is no need to have to get in and out of a wedding car to drive to locations for photos, everything is on site which makes your experience more relaxed and you will have more time to be with your wedding guests.
Credaro Wines gives their wedding clients the exclusive use of the grounds, so you can create the perfect wedding for you by hiring your favourite wedding suppliers.
Emily and her father walk down the grand limestone staircase to her wedding ceremony at Credaro Wines.
Wedding ceremonies at Credaro Wines
Your awaiting wedding guests will be situated on the lower level lawn and they will watch you walk down the impressive large limestone staircase. This lower lawned area is big enough to host a large wedding ceremony and it boasts spectacular views over the vineyard and Wildwood Valley.
Spectacular ceremony views overlooking Wildwood Valley
The ceremony location at Credaro is well though through. Large trees surround lawned ceremony area and this casts some nice shade which is great for wedding photography and also very good for your guests comfort if it is a warm summers day.
Large lawned ceremony area
I found the ceremony area easy to photograph people in the moment without being noticed. The focus is on the bride and groom and that amazing valley view behind them.
There was ample space to mingle unobtrusively and allow me to get some really natural wedding photographs.
I love the joy on Steven’s face as he and Emily are announced husband and wife.
Where to have your congratulations and family group photos at Credaro Wines
The ceremony area is perfect to allow your congratulations to flow naturally without any interruptions or direction. This is an incredibly happy and emotional time for you and your wedding guests, so I am quietly busy in the background photographing hundreds of fantastic natural emotional photos for you.
Some of these genuine moments you will have seen and remember them, others you would not have noticed but you get to enjoy them later through my photography.
A really nice shaded area for directed family group photos is just next to the ceremony location. This makes is easy and relaxing on your day.
Close proximity of photo locations positively effects your wedding day experience
Family group photos and some bridal party photos can be taken just next to the ceremony area. The light there is very flattering for photography and the backdrop is stunning. This is another example of how Credaro Wines can offer you a super enjoyable and relaxed experience on your wedding day. Not having to jump in a car and drive to locations or walk a lot in high heels sounds trivial but on your wedding day you will be so happy you had more time to enjoy being with your loved ones.
Beautiful forest for bridal photos just next to Credaro Wines.
A beautiful forest borders the ceremony lawned area with easy access to walk through to a number of beautiful photo scenes that I can work with. The late afternoon light dips behind the trees and filters through the forest which is the natural lighting that I love to work with.
As you can see with the photos of Steven and Emily’s wedding I was able to keep the experience relaxed and fun whilst photographing a nice mixture of photos captured in a documentary style and directed ones.
Why Credaro’s Vineyards are so beautiful for wedding photos.
Credaro Wines has some beautiful vineyards to photograph in and once again they are super close and convenient, just forty metres from the lawned ceremony area. I love including the forest in the background which gives it a nice contrast to the neat rows of grapevines. The forest background also gives a lovely depth to the photograph.
Natural beautiful light
I found the lighting in this vineyard area really easy to work with, it was a cloudy day which gives a lovely quality of light. If the sun was out it would be just a s good to work with though because the orientation of the grapevine rows would mean the sun backlights the vine leaves which is really pretty.
How Credaro allows me to capture natural wedding photos.
Working in the grape vine rows meant that whilst photographing Steven and Emily I could also spin around and get some lovely natural wedding photos of the bridal party chatting and relaxing together.
Convenience that makes your wedding day fun and enjoyable.
You can see here just how close the cellar door is to the vineyard. I have photographed hundreds of weddings and one thing I can guarantee is that one or all of the girls will not like walking long distances on grass or uneven ground. The forest and vineyard are so close that it saves you this concern.
The terraced area at Credaro Wines.
The terraced area at Credaro Wines is at the rear of their Tuscan styled cellar door and it overlooks the beautiful views of the vineyard and valley behind. This is where the pre dinner drinks are served and it’s a favourite time of mine to get some lovely natural photos of your guests.
Candid wedding photos of guests having a great experience.
Like the ceremony and congratulations, my aim is to capture as many photojournalistic wedding photos that show the joy and genuine moments being shared. It’s a happy awesome occasion and I want to give you as many photographs that will remind you of that.
Flattering shaded light on the terrace
The terraced area at Credaro Wines is in total shade when your pre dinner drinks are served which means I can work in a beautiful natural light and not have to use flash or artificial lighting.
It’s nicely sheltered on the terrace too, keeping you and your guests out of any south westerly winds.
Marquee wedding receptions at Credaro Wines
This beautiful marquee and styling was created by Yallingup Event Hire along with the incredibly talented florist The Dreamer and Collector. The marquee is situated just next to the cellar door so it’s super easy for your chosen catering team to service the tables.
Reception styling and table decor
The clear marquee is a great choice, it lets in lovely natural light which I love for photographing the styling and table decor. It’s also really cosy and atmospheric to watch the sun go down and stars during your reception evening.
As you can see with this wide angle photo of the marquee you can have three long dining tables and accommodate as many guests as you want without it being cramped. There is even space for a dance floor and DJ to get you busting some moves later in the night.
Wedding guests enjoying their evening at Credaro.
I love photos that show emotion, naturally captured moments that are not posed are often the best wedding photographs I reckon. This shows the guests excitedly greeting Emily and Steven to their wedding reception at Credaro Wines.
