How to identify your elopement budget.

Identity your budget for your elopement. You have already reduced your investment massively by not having to cater for a hundreds of guests. You do not need to hire a large wedding venue or a wedding planner to piece everything together. The wedding suppliers that you do need to book, like a photographer for instance, you will only need for two or three hours rather than eight.

You can use all these savings to have your elopement and honeymoon in a beautiful destination like Margaret River, Yallingup or Dunsborough. You can treat yourself to a week at a luxury resort on the beach or book a beautiful beach house or cosy hideaway in the forest.

Where to have your elopement ceremony?

The thing I love about elopements is the interesting locations that people can choose to have their ceremony. I have photographed elopements in a beautiful ancient forest surrounded by giant Karri trees or overlooking a stunning bay in a tiny private beach.

I really love how people can personalise their ceremony this way, anything is possible and you just have to imagine what would be the best location and we can organise it for you.

How many people to invite to your elopement?

You may want to elope together and keep it super simple, or you can invite your parents and a few best mates. It’s completely your choice. I have photographed elopements where I have been one of the witnesses because it has been the couple only. It has also been really nice when there has been a small group of loved ones to share the moment and I can capture some of these lovely natural emotional memories for you.

I guess it all depends on how you feel, what including family and friends means to you and what your experience will be like. There are no limitations on the numbers of guests you include with your elopement package, the more the merrier.

Elopement reception parties.

When you have returned home and told everyone your exciting news, it would be awesome to throw a reception party and let everyone you love share in celebrating your exciting news.

This can be as simple or lavish as you like, whether you book a space or party at home it will be a fantastic way to allow everyone to share the joy with you. Catering companies can take care of all of the food and you can hire furniture to accommodate your guests so everyone can be seated.

A photographer could document all off the fun and joy of the night, including the emotions during speeches, dance etc.
